In 2002 I was renting a carriage house in the west end of Portland Maine and, with the help of several friends and the generous financial support of my landlords The Carriage House Gallery was established. I worked through the winter of 2002 concentrating on the physical construction and the design of how it would function. The Carriage House showed both emerging and established artists. Operating on a shoestring budget we were able to take 0% sales of work.
